Pacegrade appointed to landmark London net zero office building

Pacegrade has been chosen to deliver the new façade of a landmark office building in Pimlico, London.

11 Belgrave Road will transform an existing 1950s concrete structure into c.108,000 sq ft of net zero carbon office accommodation, taking its place as one of the capital’s most sustainable office buildings.

The six-storey building will be partially reconstructed to create a flexible and contemporary workspace, featuring communal spaces and best-in-class facilities.

Alongside a cafe, gymnasium and high-class end of journey facilities will be 13,000 sq ft of exceptional green space, including a ground floor private garden, multiple terraces and a rooftop platform with 360-degree views of London.

The office will be characterised by industry-leading sustainability and wellbeing credentials, and has been designed to be net zero carbon in construction and operation.

It will target NABERS, WiredScore Platinum and SmartScore Platinum, as well as BREEAM ‘Outstanding’ and WELL Platinum.

The project is being delivered on behalf of Quadrum and includes a project team of Eric Parry Architects, BAM Construction and Max Fordham. It is expected to be complete in 2024.
