Cambridge Mosque

An eco-friendly British mosque for the 21st century.

Our work:

A CDM contract to design, supply and install a glazed facade, with a timber structure provided by Blumer Lehmann. The project involved a complex interface with an ornate timber frame, where achieving airtightness was a critical requirement.

The solution was a structurally glazed curtain wall incorporating the Raico Therm+ SG option with internal spruce sections to complement the exposed timber structure and glazing. To reduce additional sight lines on the façade, Pacegrade used Shueco Frameless ADI 65 SG doors within the curtain wall structure.
